 Mark Suffolk founded The Suffolk Pointe Shoe Company in 2000.Employed by one of the world’s most prominent Pointe Shoe manufacturers, Mark gained almost 20 years experience in Pointe Shoe making/designing and fitting. He was responsible for the design of several very successful Pointe Shoe styles, and is instrumental in creating a whole new approach to the process of Pointe shoe design and development. His shoes are now worn by Company dancers worldwide.Marks making experience coupled with “hands on” fitting experience gained from his close collaboration with Canada’s National Ballet School has enabled him to design his first shoe under his own signature “The Suffolk Solo” Suffolk Solo is available as a stock shoe and can be made as a special tailored to individual dancers requirements. Which ever you wear you will get the same high quality shoe. The Suffolk Solo With the help of his wife Lynne he runs a workshop that employs a skilled, dedicated team. To date “Solo” has found its way to dancers worldwide and has been a great success. Mark has always taken pride in fitting dancers with correctly fitting Pointe shoes and when required, making customized shoes to individual dancers requirements.  |
